Application Face Wall Mounted Fabricated water control sluice/slide gates provide reliable performance for water, wastewater, and hydropower applications. Open Channel Fabricated open channel gates are generally used in open channels for water or sewage. These gates are fixed between two parallel walls and are used to isolate the flow to and from the open channel. They are lightweight and economical compared to face wall-mounted sluice gates. An important design consideration is that the water height in the closed condition should be less than the height of the gate.
